specialists in Environmental Consulting

We serve the community by inspecting, assessing, and monitoring the removal of asbestos, mold, lead, and other potential hazardous materials in residential and commercial settings with safety and integrity as our primary focus

Mold

Mold is one of the oldest organisms on the planet. You are exposed to mold spores every day, it is naturally occurring and can spread and grow rapidly. Mold is usually harmless in small amounts, but if spores land in a moist area of your home, they can begin to take over and can cause decay of building materials and structural damage and can also be the cause of a plethora of health issues. Mold cultures release spores that are undetectable to the human eye that you might breathe in or ingest. If you're sensitive to mold and other allergens inhaling a lot of spores could make you very ill

Asbestos

Asbestos is a group of six naturally occurring minerals composed of small, flexible fibers that are heat-resistant have great tensile strength and are nonconductive. Asbestos was used in over 3,000 products before 1974 and is still used in hundreds of U.S. consumer products today. Its use is allowed as long as it accounts for less than 1% of the material. Asbestos exposure whether inhaled or ingested can cause cancers and other diseases, including mesothelioma and asbestosis.

Lead

Lead is dense, malleable heavy metal that is a poor conductor and is resistant to corrosion and is often found in paints used in properties constructed prior to 1978 . Over exposure to lead can cause many severe health concerns including Anemia, Kidney and Brain damage that can lead to seizures and even death. Lead inspections should be performed when construction, remodeling or renovating a property may disturb potentially hazardous material and when purchasing a new home. The Federal Government allows home buyers the ability to have the property inspected for lead-based paint, these tests are especially important if you have young children or plan to have young children

Our Home Owners Say

“No man but feels more of a man in the world if he have but a bit of ground that he can call his own. However small it is on the surface, it is four thousand miles deep; and that is a very handsome property.”
HARRY SMITH • NEW HOME OWNER

“Many novice real estate investors soon quit the profession and invest. When you invest in real estate, you often see a side of humanity that stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and saving money shelter you from.”
